POWDER COATING

What is powder coating?

The process of powder coating consists of fine dry particles of resin with the pigment chosen.  The resin powder is then applied with a spray gun that has the powder electrostatically charged.  As the resin is applied onto the part, it sticks to it like a magnet because the part is grounded.  Thereafter, the part is baked in an industrial oven where the powder is cured and transformed into a melted resin, giving you a thick and durable finish.
